The generous portions are not just a feast for the senses but also for the appetite. The warmth of the community is palpable as you watch the local senior crowd enjoying their favorite meals, a testament to the establishment's quality and charm. Great fish n chips, much closer to real British fish n chips than most places over here (I'm British, I'll never be satisfied, but this is better than most), at decent prices. If you're in the area and fancy some fish n chips to go and eat up at signal hill I'd recommend this.
Really delicious fish with generous servings. The fries were ok. But the zucchini was fried to perfection. Great prices & cain't wait to try the fried mushrooms.
I bought two fish tacos for $5.35, and they were delicious. Fish was the highlight, soft and juicy with a crunchy light batter, delicious. The toppings were fresh, yum, but the tortillas could be better, but I can't really expect this Fish and Chip place to rival authentic Mexican places on tortillas, it's not their thing. after i finished my tacos, i contemplated eating more and was about to order a fish and chips plate. almost did, but i could lose a few pounds so, i just promised myself to comeback soon and went happily on my way. next time i come i plan on eating the tacos with my own homemade salsa. parking in the plaza is a nightmare, and i ended up parking in the green zone on the street (30 min parking).
My fish n chips came with free dessert on my first visit. I ordered a small order of fish n chips & waited by the doors admiring the collection of campy fishing themed posters & ornaments. A very kind gentleman bought me a bag of donut holes from next door which was nice, the senior population frequents this place so you know it's good if you see this many old people outside of their house just hanging out. The fish n chips are incredible. Besides the nostalgic vibe the food is really good. You might get lucky and get free dessert too!
Ordered the 2 pc fish with onion rings instead of fries. Both were excellent. Tartar sauce was probably the best Ive ever had. Definitely coming back for more! BTW they close at 8pm not 9pm on Saturdays.
First timer at this place found on yelp looking forward to trying their food for the first time. We ordered: -(5) Pieces Fish & Chips - (5) Pieces Shrimp & Chips -Large Onion Rings -Coleslaw -Can Dr.Pepper -Can Sprite Our bill: $47.11
Just down to earth yummy fish and chips and shrimp. Yummmmmm! It reminds me of Arthur Treachers in Michigan where I grew up. We'd go on Sundays. Fish was crisp, made to order crunchy and not expensive. Great option for great fish and chips!
Was searching for fish and chips on Yelp and this place came up. So i ordered the 3 piece fish and chips to go. I was a little worried that the pieces would be small. When i got home an opened the bag, i was shocked to see how big these pieces were. Fish was cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed that the batter wasnt over powering. Just right. Really good. Honestly i wouldve been good with two pieces. Now im stuffed! I ordered the fries just incase i did not get full with the fish but that wasnt the case here. I didnt eat the fries. Anyway, great tasting fish. Will definitely have to return to try something else on the menu. Another good thing was the price, $13!
